DIY Face packs | All Skin Types

I hope you all are doing Great and I am back with a new post!
Today I am going to tell you DIY Face packs. What could be better than doing DIY face packs, which are made up of natural ingredients available in your home, actually in your kitchen. There are many face packs available in market, but we rarely know how are they made, so we are making them on our own according to our face requirements.

Face packs are used to:
  • Soothe your skin and remove any kind of dirt, dead skin or oil from your face. 
  • It brightens up the complexion and also heals your skin.
  • It provides calming sensation to your skin and also deals with acne and pimples.
  • It also firms the skin and helps it to tighten the skin.
  • It also helps to fight infection and moisturize your skin.
  • It provides radiant and youthful skin.
  • It also targets wrinkles and pre-mature ageing.
  • It also helps to remove tanning from your skin.

Following are 6 ways in which you can prepare your own face packs, so select them according to your needs, and they are given below:


1) Radiant Skin: To achieve radiant skin you can mix 1 tbsp Honey + 1 tbps Carrot paste (grinded) + 2 tbps Gram Flour (Besan) + 1 tbps Cucumber Juice + 1-2 tbps Milk (Dry skin) or Curd (Oily skin). Make a paste out of it and apply all over your face and rinse after 10-15 minutes.

Honey is used to brighten up your complexion and cleanse. Cucumber juice will provide cooling effect. Milk and curd will moisturize your skin.

2) Bright Skin: To have brighter looking skin, you can use 1 tbps Honey + 1 tbps Lemon Juice. It would be a bit watery in texture, but just applly for 15-20 mints and you will get cleansed and bright skin.

Lemon juice is used to brighten up your complexion and Honey is used to cleanse and remove all gunk from your face.


3) Fight acne and for Oily Skin: For this mask you will need, 2 tbps Bentonite Clay (buy here) + 1 tbps Yogurt + pinch of Turmeric + 2-5 drops of Tea Tree essential oil. Apply it and wash it off after 10 minutes.

Bentonite Clay is a boom for oily skin, as it sucks all the excess oil,even out skin texture, reduce scars and prevents blackheads too. Yogurt to retain hydration and provide glow. Turmeric is natural antiseptic to heal your skin and Tea Tree oil is used to fight acne.



4) Cleanse Face Impurities: For this pack, take tbps Gram Flour (Besan) + 1 tbps Sandalwood Powder + pinch of Turmeric +  3-4 tbps Rose water.  Apply it and rinse after 10 minutes.

Sandalwood powder will help to cleanse the face, uncloge pores and soak oil and Rose Water will give it a cooling sensation.


5) Hydrating mask: Hydrating masks are perfect for dry skin people, so mix, tbps Milk + 1 tbps Honey. Apply it all over your face with the help of cotton swab and rinse when completely dry.

Honey will help to cleanse skin and milk will give hydration and glow to skin.


6) Moisturizing Mask: Take mashed Strawberries(4-5) + 2 Tbps Curd + 1 Tbps Honey. Mix it well and apply it for 20 minutes for a glowing and hydrated skin. 

It is really good for Dry skin as Strawberries will help to make your skin glowing and honey and curd will moisturize skin well.


BONUS TIP: You can use different face packs for different part of your skin, like you can use Clay masks for oily T-zone and hydrating masks for cheeks and neck. This tip will help to extract all the good things from the face packs.
